What an awesome day we had on the Coosa River in Cave Spring, GA with Tom Tolar! As the expert guides at Coosa River Outfitters, we were excited to show Tom and his buddy the best spots to target Crappie, Bluegill, and other freshwater favorites.

The weather was perfect, with clear skies and great water conditions all day long. We had a ton of flexibility in our schedule, so we were able to hit the river at 8:00 AM and make the most of the morning bite. Right away, we started working the river banks and submerged structure, mixing up our techniques between jigging, trolling, baitcasting, and light tackle. The fish were really active, and it wasn't long before we started hooking into some feisty Crappie and Bluegill.

Throughout the day, the action stayed consistent, and we had a blast working different spots and trying new presentations to trigger bites. Even though we didn't manage to land any trophy-sized fish, the steady action and beautiful scenery on the Coosa River more than made up for it. Between the laughs, the friendly competition, and the thrill of feeling those rod-bending hits, it was just an all-around fantastic day on the water.
